So the Running Man Challenge is the new cool viral dance ruined by Ellen.
Ruined because this summer will be full of your drunk friends butchering it so that that is all you can see when you try to immerse yourself in a K-hole of hilarious videos of 16-19-year-old kids who CAN dance.
But, the song it is based on "My Boo" by the Ghost Town DJs. Also, it is an amazing song. And Ellen can't ruin that. The other thing that daytime TV can't ruin is the album it can be found on, So So Def Bass Allstars Compilation - FROM '96!
This is what I imagine Freaknik sounded like, and please don' t correct me. This is all just loud bass, heavy rump shaking music. Perfect for blasting from your car all summer, especially when you're at the bank drive-thru or some other boring errand. Also great for when the day party you're at lags about 7 p.m. So enjoy it and please don't tell Ellen. Or do, she won't understand the visceral joy of this little gift from Jermaine Dupri, and she can't take it away from you.
Saw this on WorldStarHipHop. This is Roy Purdy. Roy goes to Appleton North High School. I sherlocked it from an auditorium sign in one of his videos at the school. He makes funny-terrible videos. I kinda like it, I'm sure you'll hate it. But it's great and ties nicely back to Wisconsin.
