Redman raps about it on his seminal release, Doc's da Name 2000, in the track "I'll Be Dat." One of the most famous and talented rappers of the 90s dropping the line, "Get to steppin' in your Air Max - BOUNCE!"
The air didn't start with the Air Max 95. The air was present in basically all the iconic Air Jordan models and the visible air in the Air Jordan 4 was fresh. By the time the 90s rolled around and sneaker culture, street style and hip-hop had launched into the mainstream, it was on.
This is one of the most iconic silhouettes that Nike ever produced. The Air Force 1, the Air Jordan line, the Nike Dunk, the Air Max 95. There have been several variations of the Air Max 95 dropped over the past few years. We missed out on the Air Max 95 OG "Greedy" release in 2015, but still keep an eye out for it.
