Last week, we hit you some images of the new Steph Curry All-Star sneaker from Under Armour. This week, we share the Steph Curry "Dub Nation" that originally released last year.
The "Dub Nation" refers to the Golden State Warriors fan base. This particular colorway of the shoe makes an obvious nod to the team and their primary colors of blue and gold.
The quality is the exact same as the pair we had last week. However, the detailing is cleaner because of the "solid" texture of the plastics and synthetic materials used. Whereas the ASG SC 2 has a "sheen" to it and imperfections of materials being trapped in the shoe that do not belong, the solid blues of this shoe make it look better.
The gold detailing and the clean white base color of the ASG 2 definitely pop more than the subdued nature of a dark blue, but this is still a solid sneaker.
Best part of it, only available on the secondary market, we picked this up directly from a retailer for under retail. Varying prices and quality exist and we don't know how strong the fake industry is on the Curry models, so it is hard to really stick a value on a sneaker like this. However, using it for the intended purpose of playing basketball is bound to look good and feel good.
