I love Tomb Mold. They’re great as a band and as dudes.
I love good death metal merch.
These worlds collided when Tomb Mold embarked on an 11-date Central and Eastern United States tour in July of 2019.
It’s worth noting that Pyre Press has done a fantastic job of printing up these bad boys and their custom merch stickers with the size on the sticker is probably the coolest thing a printer can do to help a small touring band when they’re out on tour, digging through bins to exchange items for currency so that they can keep touring and making music. Good job, Pyre.
The work on each of these is great. Also, there’s major variety. The long sleeve is totally sick and a tour exclusive, while the t-shirt that is brown…well, I think it’s brown? It’s an awesome shirt and doesn’t look like basically anything else you’re seeing metal bands do with color. The closest thing I’ve seen is something Phrenelith did for Maryland Death Fest 2018.
The “Phosphorene Ultimate” shirt is also great, has a more cleaned-up presentation. This shirt actually sold out part way through their short tour and they had to have Pyre send a second, smaller batch to finish off the tour.
The coolest concept from the Tomb Mold tour merch was definitely their glow-in-the-dark shirt.
Already a very cool design, enhance the rad factor of this garm by flipping off the lights:
